The United World Mixed Martial Arts Federation (UWMMAF) has officially announced its support for the upcoming “IFT Fight Pass” (International Fighting Tournaments) – a prestigious MMA and grappling event set to take place in Lahore, Pakistan on April 12, 2025.

Organized by the Pakistan Mixed Martial Arts Federation (PMMAF), the event represents a powerful step forward for the sport in the region. PMMAF is the official UWMMAF member federation in Pakistan, and under the dynamic leadership of Babar Qayyum Raja, has been making remarkable strides in promoting both amateur and professional MMA across the country.

Adding to the event’s international credibility, Grand Master Shaker Saberi, General Secretary of the United World Mixed Martial Arts Federation, will be attending the event in person as the official representative of UWMMAF, to support and witness the evolution of MMA in Pakistan.

The IFT Fight Pass event will feature a thrilling lineup of local and international fighters, creating a global stage for martial artists to compete, connect, and showcase their skills. It also serves as a platform for emerging Pakistani athletes to gain valuable exposure and compete at an international standard.

Babar Qayyum Raja, President of PMMAF, expressed his gratitude and excitement:
“We are proud to host IFT Fight Pass with the full support of UWMMAF and the honorable presence of Grand Master Shaker Saberi. This is not just an event—it’s a statement that Pakistan is ready to lead in the world of MMA. We welcome fighters from across the globe to be part of this historic moment.”

With UWMMAF’s backing, IFT Fight Pass is set to be a landmark event that highlights the spirit of unity, respect, and high-level competition that defines mixed martial arts. All eyes will be on Lahore this April as it becomes the center stage for one of the most anticipated combat sports events in South Asia.
